It is always difficult to hear the news of someone in our community passing. Difficult because we are all afraid it will be us. Well, one day it will. Death is certain and not to be feared. Easy to say, not so easy to embrace.
We all want to feel hope in spite of our diagnosis, and there is hope. There is always hope. Hope is never a bad idea! When we learn of one in our community passing away it can shift our hope. And that's ok because we can always shift it back.
We all have different journeys from birth to death. We must honor that we all lived the life we had and perhaps we learn from those that pass before us on how to live a good life by dying a good death.
I would like to honor our friend David from Missoula. He left his earthly body on Saturday, March 25. He lived his life fully and found peace with his diagnosis and he continued to learn and grow right up until the end. May he rest in peace.
I would like to honor Kelly Rodgers. Rest in peace 5/31/23.
For Kris
Much love to David and his friends and family.
