About the Event
When on a cancer journey, you may face physical, emotional, or mental challenges that can feel overwhelming. This 4-week course offers mindfulness practices and simple, effective strategies to help you build resilience, reduce stress, and enhance well-being throughout your cancer journey. Join our fellow RR Coach, Leanne Hewlin on a journey into Mindfulness-Based Cancer Recovery (MBCR), a derivative of Jon Kabat-Zinn's Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
In this supportive, compassionate space, you will:
Cultivate awareness and self-compassion in moments of uncertainty
Strengthen your capacity to pause and respond thoughtfully to stress
Build your resilience, clarity, and presence, empowering you to face challenges with a greater sense of choice and agency
Through mindfulness practices and the support of a like-minded community, you’ll develop tools to improve your well-being and quality of life, wherever you are on your cancer journey. Together, we’ll create a space for healing, hope, and a more resilient, present…
